A place to discover what unfolds

iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone, with a 7.6-inch inner display, a 5.4-inch outer display and iOS 27.1. Every App Store app runs on it, but only some make use of the larger screen or the fold — and the App Store does not tell you which.

This directory fills that gap. We list apps that work well on iPhone Duo, say exactly what each one does on the device, and show how and when that was checked. Widgets and wallpapers designed for both displays are next.

How we review apps

Every listing is reviewed by hand before it is published and gets one of three tiers — Built for Duo, Adapted or Compatible — together with one of these verification methods:

• Developer statement — the developer confirmed support, for example in release notes or a public post.
• Apple announcement — Apple named or showed the app on iPhone Duo.
• Simulator — tested in the iPhone Duo simulator in Xcode 27.1.
• On device — tested on an iPhone Duo.

The date and method appear on every app page. When an app changes, the listing is checked again and the date is updated. The compatibility guide explains the tiers in detail.

Listings are never paid for, and a tier cannot be bought.

Open data

The whole directory is available in machine-readable form for AI assistants, agents and other tools: /apps.json (every app with tier, price, verification date and source) and /llms.txt. If you cite the directory, please link the app’s listing page.
