Stand it on a table like a laptop, and Calculate and Compare put your take-home and the comparison on the upright half, with your salary and the other inputs on the half resting on the table, so the fold runs between them instead of through your figures. Opened flat and held upright, the inner display keeps the same arrangement, so nothing jumps when you move between the two. When you hold it like a book, or open it flat and turn it sideways, the tools use both pages. Tax years, Tax trap, Cost of living, the Pension optimiser, the Tools list and Payslip Audit spread across the two pages with the fold left clear, and the Bonus calculator and Salary sacrifice show their results on the facing page as you type, as Calculate and Compare already do. Your figures, open sheets and chosen tax years stay in place as you change the way you hold it.
