Made for iPhone Duo, with a first-run tour. On iPhone Duo the Bible opens as a book: two facing pages around the hinge, read right to left, and turned by peeling a leaf with your finger, from a corner or from the edge. Closed, the outer display reads the same way in 절별. Hold the open device upright and it becomes one tall page whose two tiers meet at the hinge. New readers are now walked through the app by a short, hands-on tour: choose your language, learn how vertical, right-to-left reading works, then try the controls on the live page. It can be replayed any time from the ? in Settings. 묵상하기 has a new 색상 sheet for choosing the ground, the ink and the typeface of the verse. The random mode is gone: it reads on through the canon in order. New readers now begin in the Japanese 口語訳 in 명조 and 절별. Anything you have already chosen stays as you set it, and readers who are updating keep the language they were reading in.

App Store 简介由开发者撰写。
Vertically Verse is a scripture reader built the traditional way — fully vertical, with characters stacking top to bottom and columns reading right to left, exactly as CJK text was meant to be set. Read the Bible in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese, each in a classic translation, with a single tap to switch languages. Every control, gesture, and transition is designed around the vertical, right-to-left axis — not a horizontal app with rotated text, but a reading experience rethought from the ground up. • Fully vertical, right-to-left typesetting with proper CJK glyph orientation • Three translations: Korean 한글 킹제임스, Japanese 口語訳, Chinese 和合本 • Serif (명조) or sans (고딕) typefaces • Adjustable font size and line spacing • Dark, sepia, and light reading themes • Highlight verses and navigate the full 66-book canon • Two reading layouts: continuous flow and structured page Designed for anyone who wants to read scripture the way vertical CJK text is meant to be read.
