How it uses iPhone Duo
According to the release notes for version 1.2.10 (October 21, 2026), Unshelved "has been reimagined for iPhone Duo". When you unfold the phone, your collection shows the reading stack and the queue stack side by side on the 7.6-inch inner display, and opening a book shows its details in a more spacious layout. The developer does not describe a specific layout for the outer display or the half-open position. We have not yet tested Unshelved on an iPhone Duo.
What’s New
Version 1.2.13 ·
Tent mode is here! You're welcome, Andy. • Improved performance when browsing larger book stacks and opening books. • Refined onboarding with clearer widget examples and better spacing across iPhone Duo layouts. • Improved rating-star sizing and form spacing on unfolded iPhone Duo in portrait. • Kept book forms, import results, and sharing controls clear of the Duo's fold. • Fixed a paper-shading change when finished books return to the stack. Special thanks to Bernardo for helping track down and test these performance improvements.
About this app
Unshelved is a reading tracker for people who like to see their books rather than scroll through a grid of covers. Inside the app, your library appears as a stack of books, and the same reading life can be put on the Home Screen as widgets. You can log the pages you read and follow your progress through the seasons of the year. Building the library does not have to mean typing titles one by one: books can be added from photos or from screenshots. A separate queue holds what you plan to read next, so the current pile and the to-read pile stay apart. It suits readers who want a visual record of what they have read and what is coming up, and who would rather glance at a widget than open a spreadsheet. The app is free to download, with in-app purchases. On iPhone Duo, version 1.2.10 (October 21, 2026) reworked the layout for the larger inner display, putting the reading stack and the queue side by side and giving each book's details more room.
